Upcoming events.. May 10th will be the highway cleanup. Meet at the bank as usual.

May 15th will be a hike to The Cup and Saucer Trail. We will leave from the bank at 9:00 AM. possibly earlier if everyone agrees.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
