Well, four of us enjoyed one today!!!
We started at the Day Care Centre and we took a series of ATV trails along the shoreline of Angel ans Crystal lakes. The slush on the lakes had frozen after the rain and mild weather this week.
There were a few snowmobile riders on the lake. No one was ice fishing, either.
Branches had fallen during the recent strong wind gusts. Fortunately, today was calm.
The crust on the snow was unpredictable. Sometimes it supported us on our snowshoes, most times, not. So, we stuck to the trails.
We met a gentleman walking with his Border English Sheepdog. He told us he was on his way to his winter camping site. Interesting to hear him chat about his plans.
