A chilly morning for starters as 8 of us hikers bundled up with headbands and mits out to
"Sleepy Hollow". Our intention was to venture on the road to the back of the site but we all agreed to make it shorter as the wind had a icy feel to it and many of us were still in fall dress mode. The trail through what we call sleepy hollow was just beautiful with yellow leaves on both trees and trail. On our way back Dave heard what he thought was a deer and sure enough just ahead fresh tracks where it ran across the road. Thanks Dave for being our clubs eyes and ears. Lots of laughter and chit chat was left behind on our lunch spot. A great day it was.
