A dozen hikers started out for Spur Lake with overcast skies but great optimism! We had a good leisurely pace and had to circumvent a huge mud hole in order to keep our hiking boots dry. We stopped at the lake for more chatting before starting back. The sun came out, the weather warmed up and the jackets came off. Lovely walk with some long time hikers back to join us. Brilliant!
