Nine hardy hikers headed up the mountain to the firetower. We are all seniors so we stopped frequently, drank lots of water and talked non stop.
As we climbed to the summit the weather moved in, we had an abbreviated snack break and after much whimpering from the leader the group took pity and we took the road down to the cars.
Not a lot of snow on the trail but a few wet spots. The road had some black ice, but the group are nimble footed and no one fell, thank goodness.
