Fourteen hardy hikers, including two old friends came out to enjoy a challenging hike up to Northspan Lake.
After the third steep climb, three hikers decided to call it a day and returned, while the other eleven continued on to the overlook of the lake.Three of the male hikers were kind and broke the trail for the rest of the group, although someone had been in previously, so it wasn’t difficult.
A short break was enjoyed and then we headed back.
The consensus was that it could have been a Thursday hike, but it is typically a Tuesday or Saturday hike.
