Dave led 8 hikers out to the sanctuary (much) and we crossed the berm to pick up the inner yellow trail. The path was pretty well packed down so we widened it a bit.
We broke trail where needed into the scattered bird feeders. We heard several birds but I did not see any.
The yellow trail was less used but still pretty good. One hiker took off her snow shoes and had no problems.
We scooted in to the many limbed pine tree for a rest and recharge.
We met a happy beagle that ran off into deep snow and did not even care that her bare belly was buried in snow..
Almost two hours, about 4.1 km, under sunny skies with even sunnier conversations.
